Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how FlipPilot, a service operated by Warcotech LLC (a Michigan limited liability company, "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website at getflippilot.com, our Telegram bot (@Flip_Pilot_bot), and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you give us
- Account information: your email address (used for magic-link sign-in) and, optionally, your Telegram user ID and username.
- Payment information: name, billing address, and payment method are collected and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. We do not see or store full card numbers.
- Photos and item details: images and any text you send to the Telegram bot for item identification, pricing, and listing.
- eBay account access: if you choose to list on eBay, you authorize us via eBay's OAuth flow. We store the access and refresh tokens eBay issues, plus your eBay user identifier — never your eBay password.
- Support communications: messages you send to hello@getflippilot.com or support@getflippilot.com.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Usage data: bot commands and timestamps, listings created, items identified, errors encountered.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic region, collected by our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) for security and performance.
- Cookies: we use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
2. How we use your information
- To operate the Service — identify items in your photos, generate price recommendations, push listings to eBay, and (for Pro subscribers) coordinate cross-listing.
- To process payments and manage your subscription.
- To send transactional emails (sign-in links, receipts, account notices).
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
- To improve the Service and develop new features.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only as follows:

We may also share information when we believe in good faith it is required to comply with law, enforce our Terms, protect our rights or property, or protect users or the public from harm. If Warcotech LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction; we will notify you before this happens.
4. Data retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active and for up to 90 days after cancellation, after which we delete or anonymize it, except where we are required to keep records longer (for example, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations — typically up to seven years for billing records). Photos sent to the bot are kept only as long as needed to identify the item and create the listing, and are deleted within 30 days unless you have an active listing using them.
5. Your rights
You can:
- Access the data we hold about you — email hello@getflippilot.com.
- Correct inaccurate data through your account dashboard or by emailing us.
- Delete your account and associated data — email us and we will action it within 30 days.
- Export your data in a portable format on request.
- Withdraw consent for any optional processing at any time.
- Disconnect eBay at any time from your dashboard, which revokes our access tokens.
If you are in California, the EU, the UK, or another jurisdiction with specific privacy rights (CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, UK GDPR, etc.), you have additional rights under those laws — including the right to object to processing, the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising your rights. Contact us to exercise any of these.
6. Security
We use industry-standard measures — TLS in transit, encrypted database connections, hashed secrets, and access controls — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure; if we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we will notify you and the appropriate authorities as required by law.
7. Children
FlipPilot is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
8. International users
FlipPilot is operated from the United States. If you use the Service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our providers operate.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced by email or through the Service before they take effect.
